How to Size Your Founder Pants: The Berry Baggy Fit Guide

If you’ve ridden in gear that’s too tight, you already know why baggy exists. Founder Pants are built to move with you in the park or on a freeride line — but “baggy” doesn’t mean “guess and hope.” Here’s exactly how to land the right size.

The Fit Philosophy
Founder Pants run true to size with a baggy fit already built in. That means if you grab your normal size, you’re getting the intended silhouette — not a fluke.
• Want it baggier? Size up one.
• Want it more fitted? Size down one.
That’s it. No complicated conversion, no guessing between brands.

How to Measure Yourself
Skip the guesswork — grab a pair of pants that already fit you well and lay them flat:
1. Waist: Measure straight across just below the waistband, then double it for full circumference.
2. Length: Measure from the top of the waistband down to the hem.
3. Leg opening: Measure straight across the bottom of the leg opening, then double it.
Match those numbers to the chart above, then apply the fit rule: same size for the standard baggy fit we designed, up one size for extra room, down one for something closer to the body.
Quick Reference
• Riding park or freestyle and want max room to move? Size up.
• Riding freeride or want a cleaner silhouette off the mountain? True to size is your call.
• Layering base layers underneath in deep winter? Consider sizing up if you’re between sizes.
